6D/5N HANOI – NINH BINH – TRAIN TO SAPA – HALONG

Day  01: Hanoi Arrival (-/-/-)

Up on arrival at Noi Bai international airport, driver meet transfer to hotel in the center of Hanoi for check in.

Rest of time free at leisure to explore Hanoi.

Overnight at hotel in Hanoi.

Day 02: Hanoi – Mua Cave – Trang An – Hoa Lu – Night train to Lao Cai (B/L/D)

Breakfast at hotel.

7h30 – 8h15:  Tour guide and shuttle bus will pick you up at the hotel in Ha Noi old quarter and Hanoi Opera House then depart to Ninh Binh province. On the half way stop for short break about 20 minutes.

10h45: Arrive Mua cave which is constructed following the model of “miniature Great Wall” in China with nearly 500 steps up to mountains to conquer. You will spend about one hour to do hard trekking up to the top of the mountain for overviewthe  impressive panoramic view of Tam Coc, Trang An & Ninh Binh city.

12h00:Get on bus to restaurant, then have luch with local buffet.

13h30: Depart to visit Trang An eco-tourism, take boat trip to visit cave complex in mystery and wildness, see scenery of mountain and rivers Ha Long on land of Ninh Binh

16h00: Arrive at Hoa Lu, which is once depicted the ancient capital of Viet Nam, settled up in the 10th century. Visit temples of two dynasties of Dinh and Le with a very unique architectures in the old time. After that visiting the excavation area beside the Le Dai Hanh temple. You experience the vestiges of Royal Palaces ground dated back 10th century

17h00: Get on the bus back to Hanoi, on the half way stop for short break 20 minutes

19h00: Arrive at the hotel in Ha Noi.

Dinner at restaurant.

Taxi Transfer to Hanoi station for night train to Lao Cai

Overnight on train (sharing 2 upper and 2 lowers soft berth – air condition compartment)

Day 03: Lao Cai - Sapa – Cat Cat - Ham Rong Mountain – Lao Chai - Tavan (B/L/D)

Arrive at Lao Cai station at 5h30.

Driver meet and transfer to Sapa

Breakfast at restaurant in Sapa

Leave luggage at hotel and start the tour by trekking to Cat Cat village which is occupied by the Black H’mong tribe. Here, you can see the hydroelectric power station which was built by the French in twentieth century. You will experience the tribal way of life of ethnic minorities while enjoying wonderful views of the terraced rice paddy fields and the waterfall in Cat Cat village.

Transfer by motor taxi to Ham Rong Mountain. Visit Ham Rong mountain with unspoiled and spectacular scenery. Here, you can enjoy many kinds of colorful flowers in Indochian Orchid Garden. Passing two Heaven Gates, visitors will reach the top of Ham Rong which is called Pitch Cloud and have a panoramic view of Sapa. 

Back to hotel for lunch & check in.

PM: Take short distance walk to Muong Hoa Station to transfer by mountain train to Fansipan cable car station. Lying on an altitude of 3,143m above sea level, the peak of Fansipan is dubbed the “Roof of Indochina”. Sun, clouds, wind and mountain seem to consist of a harmonious and colorful chorus. Gazing down the fairy scenery at sunrise as well as sunset would always be an unbeatable experience for those who love nature.

Day 04: Sapa – Lao Chai – Ta Van - Hanoi (B/L/-)

Breakfast at hotel

Transfer to Lao Chai village. Trekking through Lao Chai to Tavan village to experience the local life there

Back to Sapa for lunch

Afternoon: It‘s time to say “Good bye Sapa!” and drive back to Hanoi. Along the way, once again you have a chance to enjoy the magical beauty of northwest mountains.

Dinner en route (own expense)

21:30 - 22:00: Arrive at the Ha Noi old quarter

Transfer by taxi back to your hotel

Day 05: Hanoi – Halong - Hanoi (B/L/-)

Breakfast at hotel

07:45 - 08:30 Tour guide and shuttle bus will pick up you at the hotel in Ha Noi old quarter and Hanoi Opera House then depart to Halong. On the half way stop for short break in Hai Duong province 20 minutes.

12:30 Arrive Tuan Chau Habor. Then embark the Incredible Asia Journeys – Day cruise followed by a short cruise briefing.

In the afternoon:

13:00 Start a dreamy cruise to stunning scenery with thousands of limestone mountains and have lunch (we serve you with Vietnamese traditional dishes, in case you are vegetarian, we have other food options for you) while cruising through the emerald water passing by the Dog Stone, the Burning Incense islet, Fighting-Cock island of Halong Bay symbol

13:30 Stop at Ba Hang fishing village for enjoy kayaking or sit in a bamboo boat rowed by locals (if you have booking before)

14:30 Visiting Heavenly Well Cave “Thien Cung Cave” makes the visitors the impression of being in a heavenly world.  

15:30 Enjoy a cup of wine and fruit and relaxing on sun deck while cruising back to Tuan Chau Habor,

16:30 Get on the bus back to Hanoi, on the half way stop for short break 20 minutes

20:30 - 21:00 Arrive at the hotel in Ha Noi.

Day 06: Hanoi – city tour - departure (B/L/-)

Breakfast at hotel

7.30 am – 8.30 am:  We will pick you up at your hotel to visit Tran Quoc pagoda, Buddhist relics and national heritage which lies on the West Lake.

9:30 am   Visit Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, the final resting place of Viet Nam’s greatest father; President Ho Chi Minh’s stilt house where he lived and worked from 1958 to 1969. and Ho Chi Minh Museum where tourists will learn much about his devotion for Viet Nam.

10:30 am Just next door is Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts and lying to one side of the Mausoleum is the One-Pillar Pagoda which was founded by King Ly Thai To in 1049 - the structure has become an important symbol for the people of Hanoi

11:00 am   Visit Temple of Literature. Although several Temples of Literature can be found throughout Vietnam, the most prominent and famous is that situated in the city of Hanoi, which also functioned as Vietnam's first university. The temple was first constructed in 1070 under King Lý Nhân Tông and is dedicated to Confucius, sages and scholars. It is a vast structure that has existed to present day.

12:30   We will have lunch at a local restaurant

13:40  We will explore the handicraft village of Bat Trang Potttery.

15:00   Drive back to legendary Hoan Kiem lake to visit Ngoc Son Temple which worships Van Xuong saint and Tran Hung Dao former general commander. We also observe the beautiful Vietnamese and French architecture around the lake. Then we will bring you back to your hotel to take luggage and transfer to Hanoi airport for departure flight.
